I screwed up and there is no undo button!!!

 

 

It would help to know what the screw up was...

AMD Bulldozer FX-4 Quad Core 4100 Black Edition

2 x 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz Memory

grayed out? didn't know that. Still ctrl + Z also never worked.

 

 

I didn't know there was even a greyed out undo in the editor :)

This might be feasible if it is limited to movement/creation/deletion and terrain, and not stuff like undoing the last script change or crazy stuff like that.

Yeah, that would be fine. Deletion is the most important, movement second, creation third. Terrain would be nice as well but not as important as the other ones.

There must be some special reason there is no undo button because they are normaly easy to implement. I havn't found it much of a ptoblem. I messed up a couple of times but I had saved my file every few minutes as is my normal practise

amd quad core 4 ghz / geforce 660 ti 2gb / win 10

Well, the script editor already has the undo function, so I think there is no reason to undo script changes from the world editor. But undoing world changes that you mentioned (movement/creation/deletion/terrain) should be present.

This is all we're asking for :) We have the script editor for our scripts.

you don't really think that he will release a new version for "fix undo button", do you!

so probably six months later you can use it in LE3!

I doubt too. I know that he will not release a new version, only with this fix...but i ask because passe six months after the last post, and still dont have this option in editor, and is a features that everthing Editor need have..

That would be fine by me and I'm sure most other people. I suspect we are unlikely to see a stable version of LE 3 inside a year so waiting for that is not a good option for those currently working with version 2.

i agree with you Pixel..who are working with version 2, will need stop the work in the project half, just to wait the release of version 3?

 

And a little observation, we are talking about little fix, like save objects scalled and undo button, i think a little wrong wait a year, just to fix this..

 

this is just my opnion.. :)
