  1. Game Description – INGENUITY LEGACY.
     


    The game offers a slow-paced journey across the Martian surface, inviting the player to engage in observation, environmental awareness, and quiet discovery. Rather than focusing on action or challenge, the experience emphasizes atmosphere, symbolism, and the passage of time.
    Gameplay is intentionally minimalist, prioritizing environmental storytelling and reflective moments over complex mechanics. Each scene is designed to be felt rather than explained, allowing the player to connect emotionally with the world and its meaning.
    Developed using Leadwerks 5, INGENUITY LEGACY was created as part of the Leadwerks Winter Games 2025, a community-driven development event that encourages creativity, experimentation, and personal expression within a limited scope.
    INGENUITY LEGACY is a brief, intimate experience about exploration, patience, and the legacy that remains when a mission comes to an end.

  2. "To lose a young life in these trying times is truly not an unheard-of thing."
     
    Here is a brief overview of the project. It is built using Leadwerks 5 and C++17. The code is open source and can be found here. While the repo is currently a mess, I plan to clean it up in the near future. This is my first project using Leadwerks, and I've learned a great deal over the past month. If you are having difficulty with the game, please refer to the calculations provided under the Assets section below, which may help you develop a more effective strategy.
     
    Note that these calculations are based on a single 12-hour search period. While no more than three survivors or three weapons can be found during a single search, it is possible to accumulate 30+ weapons and have four additional survivors in your party at one time. Additionally it is advisable to keep your barricade integrity above 50%, as there is a chance survivors may flee in fear if it drops below this threshold. Each survivor actively helps defend your barricade and increases the rate at which repairs are completed.
     
    This game is inspired by the Flash game The Last Stand. The project is still in active development, and there are several known bugs and placeholder assets currently in use.

  3. Short narrative horror puzzle game. An unofficial sequel to Fingerbones (https://store.steampowered.com/app/391270/Fingerbones/).
    Considered an alpha at this stage. Needs a bit more dev time so I blocked off the final room for now so I can refine things a bit more.
    I split game from single map to multi-map quite far through the tournament time which complicated things as state has to be maintained across maps.  If you seem stuck it might be due to this. Should be possible to make it to the intended end.  There will be a note at the end making it pretty clear your at the end of the game so far.

    The use of sound was going to be a more prominent factor but for now it's minimal and functional.
    First game attempt in LW 5. Though I've used LW 4 before and have previous LW competition submissions (e.g  Grimlight)

  4. "Escape from Vostorg" - is a game I developed for Leadwerks Winter Games 2025 Tournament.
    The goal of the game is to complete the level and score as many points as possible.
    The game level takes place in the floating city of Rapture. This city consists of five floating islands connected by bridges. The city is under attack by an army of undead. You need to find a switch on one of the islands. Pressing it will make the zombies disappear, and you win the game.
    Points are awarded for killing mobs and collecting cats.
    Your weapon is a toy gun that shoots yellow pellets that are dangerous to zombies.
    Usually zombie aimlessly wanders around the city. But when he spots the player, he runs toward the player, and if he gets close to the player, he punches the player.
    Control:
    W or Up - move forward
    S or Down - move backward
    A or Lef - strafe left
    D or Right - strafe right
    E - action with an active object
    Mouse move - control a point of view
    LMB - fire

  6. A short story with light horror elements about warmth, an abandoned village, and a signal trying to reach you.
    You arrive in a frozen wasteland.
    There is a menacing antenna on the horizon,
    and cabins covered in ash, long forgotten.
    The fire is your only real company, and its flames are hypnotizing.
    There is no combat or enemies chasing you, yet there is a strange feeling that you are always being watched.
    In this remote winter settlement, it is not the cold you should be careful of.

    This game contains psychological horror, unsettling themes, audio designed to create discomfort, and flashing or flickering visuals.
    About this entry
    The game uses a retro PS1 and old PC game style. It’s not meant to be 100% accurate, but this is the look I wanted for this project.
    This is my entry for the Leadwerks Winter Games 2025. I like winter, and I tried to follow that theme while also testing some of the new features in the engine. I used the terrain system, the new post-effect stack, and the Reduce Mesh feature in Leadwerks 5.
    The Reduce Mesh tool helped a lot with the low-poly PS1 style. Sometimes there isn’t a low-poly version of a model, so this tool makes it easier to match the game’s look.

  7. A short little player controller I made! It's just a controller for now, I whipped this up in a few days, and it was fun to learn!

  8. This is my game for the Winter Tournament 2025. It's a clone of Vampire Survivor but smaller .
    It's called Leadwerks Survivor.
    It's still a little rough around the edges. The difficulty still needs to be adjusted, but it's my first project with Leadwerks 5.
    To win, you must survive for at least 15 minutes and defeat all three bosses.
    Keys to use:
    WASD - to move the player
    Mouse - to rotate the player
    M - to see the map with the locations of all the chests.

    neutral territory, strengthening their positions through geometric connections, and hunting for the
    enemy’s hidden King. Strategy is key: do you spread thin to find the King, or build a fortified tower
    that cannot be breached?

  11. My odd entry for the LEGENDARY Leadwerks Retro Summer Game Tournament 2018.
    It is a mass multiplayer game, the factions are at war and need your help to capture more teritory.
    Faction available: red, white, black, green, yellow.
    Choose you faction and provide a unique name to join.
    Game map is formed by a cube of cubes (9 cube side).So 729 selectable territories.
    You can navigate the map in first person view.
    The game starts at world 0 , 19 worlds are available each with its own territories.
    Below you can see how the world is structured and how worlds are indexed:

    You can navigate this worlds using left right keys.
    For example you are in world 0 at beginning, pressing left key moves you to world -1, pressing right move to world 1.
    Each player start with 100 energy.
    Energy regenerates by 1 point every 5 seconds.Max available energy 100.
    Capture territories by left clicking, the cube gets colored with your faction color (cost 10 energy).
    Right click neutralize an enemy cube and turn it to default blue (cost 100 energy).
    Another way to capture enemy territory:
    Red player select a cube in world 0.
    To capture that, you need to capture the same territory in adjacent worlds -1 and 1.
    Cube 0 (white) Cube 0 (red) Cube 0 (white)
    world -1        world 0      world 1
    Territory 0 from world 0 is captured by white.

    Client has a config.json text configuration.
    Default configuration points to the public server.Just start to play.
    Cmd line option to start your own server on another ip/port: server.exe -ip="some ip" -port=someport
    Client remembers any number of local players,
    so you can actually use multiple clients but only one at the same time on same computer (because it captures mouse movement).

  20. 1/10 remote-control cars solo racing in different environments and levels.
    3 modes:
    Quick race (5 opponents), Time-Trial (ghost included or not), Championship (7 opponents). Ghost recorded files are exchangeable for challenging others racers.
    For now 3 environments, 6 levels.
    Exclusively on Windows PC, required devices : X360 Controller or keyboard.
    Demo available now. It is a one-man job from the start.

  24. Vectronic is a first-person environmental puzzle game inspired other games of the same genre such as Portal, Quadrum Conundrum, and Q.U.B.E. Players must solve puzzles using special power balls that effect boxes that changes their behavior in the world.

    Please understand that I contructed this demo within a month, and this build does not/will not represent the final game. Please follow the blog for current news and screenshots.
